More than thirty years ago Esther Sanger, who later became famous as the founder of Quincy Crisis Center, took it on herself to tape all the services at Wollaston Church of the Nazarene.
Years later Mark Metcalfe has resurrected a lot of those old tapes with amazing results. Voices from the past-- singing, testifying, praising the Lord. Esther Williamson is interviewed and sings a solo. Dawn Heckman, Donald Davis, Bob Howard, Geri Metcalf (now Rosser) as well as my own dear parents (then in their 70s) and the Wollaston choir and much, much more.
There are a lot of my old sermons as well. Bear in mind I was mid 40's and just learning to preach (smile!!) so have pity. But there is one sermon on Acts and St Paul's call where Geri sings at the end that I recommend . . . I think October 14, 1979 not sure . . .
Anyway you can find it by google-ing "Russell Metcalfe" and then click Sermons by and then "audio page"--
if you do will you let me know you did?
Audaciously yours,
Russell
